Press Releases
20 February 2019
An initiative that promotes a return to employment, supported by Microsoft and the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region.
The AI School is a Microsoft initiative alongside its ecosystem of partners. Through this job-oriented school based on inclusion, Microsoft and its partners are reasserting their goal to contribute to France’s digital transformation. Exakis Nelite is one of the first partners to open a Microsoft AI School class.
Objectives for learners
Integrate the company’s teams working on projects such as the use of preconfigured cognitive services in Microsoft Azure (e.g. chatbots) or the creation of apps and smart systems specific to the needs of Exakis Nelite customers.
We felt it was essential to involve our partner ecosystem in our ambition to democratize AI while helping to counter the shortage of talent in the market. In joining forces with this new class at the Microsoft AI School, the Exakis Nelite group is demonstrating its desire to participate in this collective momentum around artificial intelligence.

Information and registration
The first class dedicated specifically to the needs of Exakis Nelite is formed of 16 students who are embarking on an initial 7-month training program at the Simplon Institute in Villeurbanne. They will then be incorporated into the staff of the various Exakis Nelite agencies in France (Paris, Lille, Nantes, Lyon, Clermont-Ferrand, Grenoble, Aix-en-Provence, Toulouse and Bidart) for a 12-month work-study program.
This first class will be followed by two more in 2020 and 2021.
“This initiative is part of the commitment of the Magellan Partners group, a French mid-size company in Organization Consulting, Information Systems Consulting and specialized IT activities, to which Exakis Nelite belongs, to democratize and develop AI by incorporating a social and ethical dimension,”said Didier Zeitoun, Chairman of Magellan Partners
“In opening a class dedicated to the specific features and profiles sought by Exakis Nelite, we intend to strengthen our expertise in artificial intelligence while helping people return to work through training in artificial intelligence technologies. The choice of location outside the Paris region was grounded in the desire to attract different talents,” explained Thierry Rolland, CEO of Exakis Nelite.
To recap, Exakis Nelite is a founding member of the Impact AI collective, a think tank that brings together major French companies (including Microsoft), Digital Sector Companies, AI start-ups, and representatives from the academic sphere to promote and suggest real-life actions aimed at rolling out ethical, responsible AI applications.
